Caller ID on calls made from 3CX Assistant

    When making calls from the 3CX assistant, the receiving party only sees the extension number without the name on their caller ID. If we make the call from the phone, you see the name and extension number on the receiving phone.

    Is there a setting we're missing somewhere? We would like the receiving party to be able to see an extension number as well as the name of the person calling when calls are made through the 3CX assistant.

    We are using the latest licensed version of 3CX 9 with Cisco SPA 508G phones.

    In the 3CX Assistant, select menu options "MyPhone>Home". once the myPhone opens in IE, select Extension Settings. There, you can change the Outbound Caller ID per extension. This can also be set from the server, by selecting the extension, going to the "other" tab, and changing the Outbound Caller ID.
