Caller ID = Private

    After upgrading from 3cx phone system v7.x to 8.x, when making external calls the call ID now displays "Private" versus our company name. Any idea what has changed in v8.x to cause this?

    I take it you're outgoing calls use a VoIP provider and not a PSTN gateway?

    Yes, that is correct. We are using Broadvox.

    Hi,

    Can you try to remove the broadvox connection and recreate it?

    As the templates have changed.

    Well, i just upgraded to 3CX Phone System 8.10824, and re-created the Broadvox VOIP connection based on the new script in v8. Unfortunately that didn't help. We still get "private" on the outbound caller id. Any other suggestions?
