Using the 3cx phone system and Yealink T38's, calls to GROUPS/QUEUES are rewritten with a PREFIX - the name of the group. So, if 555-1212 which is Yealink - calls us the display says "IT - Yealink 555-1212" The problem is that if the phone number matches an entry in the local phone book in the phone then it gets rewritten "Yealink Inc 555-1212" and does not show the PREFIX. Any way to avoid this ? We use the 3cx phonebook that is made for Yealink, run it thru a script and add all internal mobile phone numebrs to it from AD. Then save that phonebook and that is what the phones use for the lookup.
