Calls go silent during call for 10-15 seconds

    Hi
We have a small voip setup which has been working well, I recently upgraded the PC and reset up our VOIP system and used a backup of the original system, everything seemed to be going well but on quite a few calls the call goes silent during the call and then returns after around 5-10 seconds.
I have been through all our settings and have double checked the port forwarding and open ports and I'm struggling to find the solution. I have even turned off the Windows firewall and that does not resolve the issue. I have also checked the quality of service and that also seems fine.
The router is a Draytek Vigor 2820 and 3CX is running off a Windows 7 PC.
Any pointers of what to look at that may give an indication of the problem?
I'd be really grateful of any pointers.
    Thanks
    David

    Hi David,

I think running a packet capture on the server and analyzing the RTP traffic the server is receiving is the only way to see what is happening here...

    Hi Nick

Thanks for your help, I thought I'd solved the issue but it still seems to be happening. I'm sorry I'm not over technical but if you could help with how to run a packet capture that would be great?

If I posted the results would you mind casting an eye over them?

    Thanks for your help.

    I really appreciate it.

    David
