Can not call to other number

    Dear: All
    I'm Danai from Thailand Thank you for your good program easy to install


    I'm have problem not sure How can i solve it i can not call to other in the same SIP- server

    Windows Server 2003
    Symantec Antivirus

    i can call to server
    but can not call from PC 2 PC

    i use X-Ten for IP phone


    Please advice

    Do the machines have firewalls enabled? or a firewall in the network?

    I think so

    I try to re-install for new and remove all sec software and try to test again tomorrow

    It so happens i am in thailand as i reply to your message. Lovely place! :)

    In regards to your issue the best is to work as follows

    1. Check if any firewalls are active on the PCs or the Server, switch off if yes to ascertain its not a firewall problem.
    2. Check that the extensions have been registered correctly with 3CX Phone System.
    3. Dial the other extension and check the server status log - it will show the connection logs and what exact ips are being dialed. Check that these are indeed correct.
    4. Check the server status logs - is the server getting a response from the the extension? See this FAQ how to analyze the server status logs in more detail:
