can recieve calls but can not here the caller

    i can recieve a call but can not here the caller but caller can here me

    also can not make outgoing calls gives error 480 on phone and the server post a message saying
    local hostname does not contain a domain part

    Just ignore that message about local host name.
    Error 480 appears when attempt to establish call is timed out.
    To get more detailed support please provide support with support information about your settings.

    VoIP Provider
    Name of Provider Broadvoice
    Proxy Hostname or IP proxy-nyc.broadvoice.com
    Proxy Port (default is 5060) 5060
    Registrar Hostname or IP sip.broadvoice.com
    Only required if your VOIP provider requires separate registrar name and port entries
    Registrar Port 5060
    Time between registration attemps (in seconds) 3600
    Stun server Hostname or IP
    Stun server Port (default is 3478) 3478

    Add Outbound rule
    Create outbound rule
    With prefix
    This will create an outbound rule which places calls starting with this prefix via this provider

    Please, set

    Proxy Hostname or IP: sip.broadvoice.com
    Registrar Hostname or IP: proxy.nyc.broadvoice.com OR leave it blank

    Note, you must use dot '.' instead dash '-' (as it is in your settings) in the name of Registrar. Also note, that you must swap places of proxy and registrar exactly as it shown above. You may leave registrar field blank, if shown settings are not working.

    Also, if you'll have call established, but no sound - fill STUN server field to be stun.3cx.com, or any other STUN server you prefer.

    ok now i am recieving calls and can hear caller and caller can hear me but cannot make a call out it just hangs as is giving error 480 then a fast busy signal

    Please, check your outbound rules. Consult our User's Manual to do it right. If it doesn't help - go to General/Support and press 'Generate support info' button, then send generated file to 3CXSupport
