Hello Community.

I am a newbie here evaluating 3CX.
I've noticed that the latest 3CX app (15.5.15.388 on iOS 11.4) is using IPv6 while on 3G/LTE connectivity.
Seems there is no parameter in settings available to force the app to stick on strict IPv4.

Is this per design ? Because it brings me issues when going through the tunnel.
The tunnel is one of the important features I am looking for but seems to have suddenly broke with IPv6 on the Rogers network.

Hi Georges
Can you check, please, if "Personal Hotspot" is active on your iPhone? If yes, try to turn it off to see if 3CX client is then working OK.
Thanks

Hi Vali and thanks for the follow-up.

No, "Personal Hotspot" is not active. I tried to enable then disable as a test but still have the problem.
I was searching on the forum and found this recent thread (fresh from last week):
https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/ios-client-ipv6-issues-with-rogers-lte.57025/

Looks like this is the same issue.
I'm wondering why is the 3CX client showing IPv6 when the mobile operator offers a dual-stack and the target 3CX server is defined as IPv4 ?

Thank you.

OK, when we will have some news, we'll announce.

Great, will wait for your update and thanks again for the prompt response Vali.
