Is it possible to call out to a skype contact that does not have a phone number (by just using a username or something)?
Incoming Skpe calls from said contacts works wonderfully, but I have no way of calling them back nor placing a call to them.
    Is this a supported feature?

I am just looking to send Skype calls to my desk phone, I do not wish to place calls to the PSTN through it, as I have a SIP trunk from CallCentric for that.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi,
Use a phone that can dial destinations that are alphanumeric e.g. 3CX Phone
The 3CX Skype Gateway is installed
Add an outbound rule which catches such calls
    Please read http://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/outbound-rules-a-complete-example/
