Can you "Play on Phone" a call recording that isn't for your extension

    Hi,

    Through the API is it possible to "Play on Phone" a call recording? Then if that is possible can you also send another WAV file to "Play on Phone"?

    I know you can do your own call recordings through the webclient/windowsclient and mobile apps but is this at all possible through the API?

    Just that the Call Recordings functionality is so poor that you can't give out permissions to access other people's recordings only your own. The only other way is through Call Reports which has no permissions at all so our Sales Manager could access the MD's call recordings which just can't happen. So we wanted to create our own interface to access these recordings and then send them to play on the phone rather than through the PC.
