cannot dial out via pstn

    Hello all:

    This is my first post. Had a great time installing 3cx on a dell computer.

    I have managed to install 2 soft pphones and a polycom 501.

    I can dial to any extension.

    However, on my pstn line, I have problems.

    I"m using a linksys spa 3102.

    when I try to dial out this is the error I get:

    IF I try to dial out from xlite softphone I get this log:

    I would say password or username are not correctly defined. You need to input same user and pass on Linksys3102 and 3cx. Does SPA3102 register at all ?

    I also noticed that my pstn line is not showing as registered. It is red. Also, the line led on the linksys spa 3102 is not on.

    do you mean username and password in 3cx pstn line password and pstn password in 3102. they are the same but i'll check again.

    ok I changed the authentication id and password for both pstn in 3cx and spa 3102. Here is the log when I try to dial out:

    ok I just noticed that pstn line status in spa 3102 shows failed.

    I followed the online instructions on setting up the 3102 and i've gone over it several times. Can't think of what i'm missing.

    This would probably explain why the light in the 3102 is not lit.

    any suggestions?

    ok finally got the pstn line registered. I had the wrong user id in subscriber information on the spa 3102.

    I still can't dial out. I get a 404 not found error.

    any help please

    You have to use diferent Ports(on SPA) for line 1 and PSTN Line, for example, 5060 and 5061, also make sure the dial rule is created correctly..

    ok I do have different ports for pstn and line. I managed to get the line to register however, when I dial out I get this log:

    I can hear a series of 3 beeps then a busy signal then it hangs up on me.
