    Hi,

I am setting up a proof of concept for the 3CX system, and I need to show it working before I can get the go ahead from managers to purchase (hence I have no support, and running on a trial licence).

I have been given a SIP trunk trial by one of the recommended 3CX SIP partners (SIP Trunk Plus), however I can't get it to register. I keep getting the following error:

12-Feb-2016 12:04:29.612 [CM504007]: Next attempt to register Lc:10000(@500UK[<sip:03333441978@sip.sip-trunking-services.com:5060>]) is scheduled in 5 minute
    12-Feb-2016 12:04:29.608 [CM504005]: Registration failed for: Lc:10000(@500UK[<sip:03333441978@sip.sip-trunking-services.com:5060>]); Cause: Cause: 403 Forbidden/REGISTER from 178.79.160.70:5060
    12-Feb-2016 12:04:29.292 [CM504003]: Sent registration request for Lc:10000(@500UK[<sip:03333441978@sip.sip-trunking-services.com:5060>])

The provider are being helpful in trying to resolve the issue, however I'm not sure if this is a SIP trunk issue, or whether I've just done something wrong in the install of my 3CX test system.

    Can anyone help?

The following log line implies that IP 178.79.160.70 is not allowing the registration which seems to be that of the Provider.

    12-Feb-2016 12:04:29.608 [CM504005]: Registration failed for: Lc:10000(@500UK[<sip:03333441978@sip.sip-trunking-services.com:5060>]); Cause: Cause: 403 Forbidden/REGISTER from 178.79.160.70:5060

Maybe that provider is not registration based?

    Debug?
    > “Troubleshooting” > “Activity Log” > “Logging” button

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Thanks for the responses, the SIP trunk provider got back to me and the issue was actually with the password!
