Change Operator to Ring Group?

    When we get an incoming call, it goes to a ring group. When they transfer a call, and it goes to voicemail, it says "Press Star to contact the Operator." Can I set Star to go back to whoever answered the call rather than the Operator?

    Unfortunately no you can not do this. You can only set an extension to be the operator under Settings -> General -> General Tab.

    If you want the call to go back to a ring group you then need to forward that extension to a ring group. There is no way for the transferred call to bounce back to a specific extension based on the person that answered the initial ring group call.

    Shared Parking does have the ability to have calls bounce back to the extension that parked the call originally after so many seconds, if your interested in doing something like that. However I typically try and steer people away from parking in-favor of transfers as you get better call flow and its less complicated for end users.
