Change outgoing CLID

    Hello,

    I have set my outbound caller id on gateway to my general office phone number, but when it is forwarded to my portech MV370 GSM gateway it keeps on passing the CLID from the Mobile phone. This results that when we make outbound calls the number of the mobile device is displayed.

    Can I pass the general office number in any way?

    The only time you will be able to change the outgoing CID is if your calls are routed via a VoIP provider that allows it. Calls routed via a GSM gateway will show the number assigned to the SIM in the gateway. GSM is not set up to allow a number change.
