    It would be handy to be able to change statuses of other extensions from the 3CX Client without having to log in to the management console or dial voicemail.

    Hello @kieferschild

    This is already possible through the web client as you can change the status of an extension given you have the appropriate right enabled under your extension rights. You will need to enable the receptionist right to be able to perform this actions.

    Hi,

    that's great but not ideal for the customer.

    They already have the 3CX Client along side the receptionist view. The last thing they want is a 3rd window to be able to do something easy like change a status.

    My customer doesnt want to have to log in to webclient each time they leave the office.

    If they had incoming calls to a dummy extension and the destination depended on status, logging in each time isnt convenient. Whereas, being able to do it from the 3CX Client is.

    It's frustrating for managers who can log people in and out of queues from the windows client but can't update status the same way. Seems like an oversight.
