In Progress Changing Ring Tone for Queue

While its great default tone can be changed in the new beta, most the requests for ring tone changes are for queues - there should be an option to change the tone for all types of incoming calls.

Agree, we need this option urgently!!
 
+1 for this as well. Currently at customer trying to deploy a queue and first item asked was to change the tone.
lol I literally had this exact same experience this afternoon.
 
Why is 3CX silent on this topic?

+1 option to change it in the console like the default ring, or even have the default 3cx Template changed to use Ring2 for all...

Whats the ETA?? I don't see anything on it since June 2017 from 3CX?
 
If using Yealink, you can change this using a custom tempate, under 'distinctive ring_tones'

distinctive_ring_tones.alert_info.5.ringer =

It is VERY easy for an unsupported custom template to be added. If it is so easy in the template, It should be so easy to add to the extension provisioning tab settings!

With the move to cloud instances with an SBC this is sorely needed - custom templates are a real problem behind an SBC. 3CX is really close with the new provisioning options, we just need a few more - and for the options to have a DEFAULT setting so we don't have to change every setting on every extension when a change is made.

Mostly they want Ring 2, but not working on Qeueu
 
100%, this is pretty well a universal objection by end customers - and a huge make work project for partners.

Please, what does "in progress" translate to as in ETA?

We've just recently moved over to selling 3CX from decades of appliance based phone systems (digital key through to IP) and I was amazed to discover an every day feature like this missing.
 
v15.5 SP4 has this - currently in BETA.
