Hi,

We are experimenting changing SIP providers. Currently use NexVortex, and testing VOIP.MS. With our 3cx Tenant, their custom SIP Port is 8060. So in NexVortex, we set the DID Route to pbx.server.com:8060 to route calls to the specific 3cx Tenant instance. But with VOIP.MS, there is no way to set this as they only support 5060 and rely on registration only. Is there are workaround to this, without colliding with the other custom ports on our Sip Server?

On a registration trunk you typically don't have to port map for calls to work. Once the registration is up and working calls will come in without a port map as on a registered trunk port mapping is not necessary. Some providers want a mutual registration, but VOIP.MS sounds like siptrunk.com and intermedia which works the same way. I use Siptrunk.com and do not have to have a port map for it to work.
