It would very useful to have an easy way for each extension from the 3cx management console to select which extension number can receive or make call to xxx extension number. or range of extension number an extension can call or receive call.

For example i want Ext 100 to be able to call to ext 101, 102, 105 , 110 only. despite there are many other extension such as 120, 122, 123 124 etc, but ext 100 cannot call on it, if they try to call , a prompt should say " you are not allow to call this number"

Also each extension can choose which gateway/or trunk will be assigned to their extension to make call as default outgoing calls.

    Thanks

Can't you already assign which outbound rule gets used by an extension or group?
Or do you mean an individual line within a trunk?

Hi Craigreilly, I meant an individual line, Lets say SIP TRUNK 1 have DID +123123123, it would great that if one or more ext , for example ext 100, 102, 110 should use only SIP TRUNK WITH DID +123123123 for outgoing calls. while there are several SIP Trunk / VoIP Gateways configured on 3cx. Also , there should be an easy way where admin can restrict ext from calling or receiving calls from other extension , from one or more or by a group .

these option is not available right? if not, do you think it will be great?

just change their outgoing caller id is really what you seem to be asking for.
but you can not set an outgoing caller id based on outbound rule as far as I know.
but you can also restrict a group or extension to using a specific outbound rule as well.
