    Hi everyone!

I am experiencing some availability issues on the server and my support recommended me changing my NIC.

Are there any compatibility issues with 3vx using VMXNET3?

    What NIC do you use?

    Thanks for the help!

We have around 50-60 3CX systems on VMware ranging from ESXI 5.0 up to 6.5
All of them use VMXNET3 for the NIC

VMXNET3 have had issues in the past with E1000, not with 3cx but have had various strange bugs and behaviour with it, never had a problem with VMXNET3 NIC

The E1000 emulation is only really for legacy purposes (i.e. OSes that don't have VMware tools available for them) - VMXNET3 is generally recommended if available to use.
