    Hi
I bought a Cisco 7940 Sip phone off eBay and successfully configured it to my phone server. It got it's extension successfully and can make call within the server. When I try to call outbound or get inbound calls I can't hear any sound on my end, and the person on the other end can't here me. Does anyone have the same problem?

Is this a "local" extension...on the same LAN as the server?

Do any other sets have the same issue? Could this be a Codec issue, no Codec available within the set to match that of the (I'm assuming) VoIP provider? The fact that it is a two way audio issue leads me to suspect this. In the extension settings, try enabling PBX delivers audio, to see if this makes a difference.

    3CX Firewall test all passed?

Does the 3CX Activity log show any problems/errors for an outside call?
