Cisco CP-7920 IP Wireless Phone Configuration

    Hello. Has anyone configured this IP Phone with the 3CX phone system?
    If so, could you please let me know what the configuration is that worked for you?

    If you have the sip version of the firmware you should be able to make it work.

    The config will probably be similar to the 7975 - see here:

    Thanks for the info. The CP-7920 does not have any SIP Firmware. It uses the skinny protocol, or for Trixbox, the chan_sccp.

    So, if I don't have SIP firmware, which all the Cisco phones don't, as well as several Linksys ones that work directly with access points in the network, will it work at all with 3CX? Is there a chan_sccp configuration, or any other type that someone has gotten working? I am using Cisco AIR-AP1231G-A-K9 access points, 3, within our building.

    To my knowledge, there is not a way to do it if it does not support SIP. There is no chan_sccp equiv. for 3cx.
