Codec Settings

    Is there any way to configure codecs to use a specific bitrate? I know that Speex supports between 2 - 45kbps and G.711 4864kbps, 5664kbps, 64kbps but can't find out where to configure them.

    I think there is no way to configure that on 3CX. It will just follow the other endpoint configuration. The bitrate used will be specified in SDP by the phone, gateway or VoIP provider when the INVITE arrives.

    You can setup your voip provider gateway to use whatever codec you want in the order of preference. This seems to only work with outbound calls.
    Inbound it seems to accept whatever is first presented (g711 in my case) from the voip provider.
