The following scenario is common: The analogue door entry system is registered to the 3CX via an ATA. A ring group rings the phones of the participants as soon as a visitor presses the front door bell. The participants can take off and talk to the visitor and open the front door with a key code. Since this is an existing analog installation, no camera image is transmitted to the phones when the visitor rings. In most cases, however, a webcam is installed in the entrance area, which constantly monitors the front door anyway.
It would be ideal if there was an integration in the 3CX, which brings together the ringing signal (transmitted by the ATA registered on the 3CX) and the video stream of the camera (via streaming URL of the camera) and when someone rings the door bell, it is together forwarded to the phones of the participants. The participants then see the picture of the visitor and can talk to him and open the door. Similar to the bell system from Baudisch (and others), but due to the existing installation there are two separate systems (doorbell via ATA and webcam), which are bundled with the help of the 3CX and passed on to the phones of the participants when the bell is triggered by the visitor ,
Such an integration is already included in several competing products to the 3CX and it would be very helpful for many existing buildings that can not convert to video SIP doorbells.
