Config server is not connected

    Hello,

    We've installed 3CX Phone System v11 on a Windows 8 box. It has been working for a while until just recently. When we opened up the Management Console, message seen was "Config server is not connected." In the Task Manager, all 3CX services are in the stopped state. Starting the Configuration Service does not work.

    Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    I would review any recent changes/updates/patches, or any other programmes running, that may have caused this.

    Re-boot the computer see if 3CX starts properly. If it does, let it run and see if the problem re-occurs, it may have been a one-off. Do a back-up (or two). if this happens again, you may want to consider an un-install and re-install of 3CX if there is nothing else (a Windows log?) suggesting why this is happening.

    After a reboot, message is still seen. I'll try a re-install and see if that will fix the issue.

    uninstall, reinstall most recent 3cx backup also make sure window updates are up to date. You should be good to go
