Using Holiday dates in 3cx along side the office hours, can we add an option to set where the calls get routed to after the 'holiday' greeting / message has been played to the caller.

A couple of our clients are recording a few greetings for this years Christmas, but for clients who close early and wish to provide a different greeting and then a choice to the caller, this is a little difficult as there is no option on the 'holiday' dates to select a different destination

We then need to program other routing for different days over Christmas where they are sort of open, but 3CX needs to drop to an alternative message with a prompt and IVR.

We need the ability to schedule date specific greetings, not just for holidays but also for special events. Currently, we have to manually change the greeting in advance.

A third scheduling option under Inbound Rules that applied for the Holiday schedule would work.

This would be very handy, our business has different branches and divisions, the exact dates and times that everyone comes back from Christmas leave varies.

To be able to say on 23-12-16-4-1-2017 go to xmas-DigitalReceptionist would be very handy!

you can still use the HOL receptionist and add the events as a holiday (you can specify a seperate greeting that will dynamically swap the HOL Receiptionist Greeting.

in V15 its under settings then office hours and holidays

You can only have one holiday IVR, it would be much preferred to be able to adjust each IVR in the system on holidays. At a minimum it would be nice to just append a message to each ivr but the way that it works currently you can't have the holiday work for multiple inbound routes and seperate holidays. Its very frustrating I have multiple departments and its always been a problem with 3cx we can not set holiday greetings for independent ivrs.

3CX essentially treats holidays as outside of "Office hours" with a specified global holiday greeting. To have different holidays, hours, greetings, and routing, based on the DID the customer dialed, would would require you to bypass the 3CX holiday system. But it could be done with the Voice Application Designer (VAD) and a scheduling component.

Essentially you would forward your inbound call first to a VAD which would evaluate (based on the current date and time and the defined schedule) where to route the call (presumably a Digital Receptionist (DR) on holidays). The VAD would dynamically swap the greeting for a "Holiday" Digital Receptionist to play the appropriate holiday greeting.
