Hi,
I have followed this article http://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/skype.html
1. I have added a Skype PSTN gateway from the 3CX Management Console
2. Configured IP, and Port for 3CX to communicate to the 3CX Skype Gateway
3. Created the port for the 3CX Gateway for Skype
4. Outbound rule creation
5. made 3CX Gateway for Skype Configuration :
Successfully activated that account using an older version of skype that has extra's manager installed.
6. The 3cx gateway service is started successfully and it is showing a green light.

But could you please tell me what account / extensin is this forwarding from!!
How do i forward a call to a particular extn. to an skype id?

I have made all the changes as described in that article >> Configured and rechecked >> It is now showing the green light but the call is not forwarding to my skype accounts..
I have done everything that's described in that article (http://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/skype.html) .
Could you please help me how to forward incoming calls to a particular extension to skype id.

Thanks
In advance
Bhaskar

Have you read this blog and especially the part “Making Calls to Skype IDs…”
http://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/outbound-rules-a-complete-example/

If want to make calls by Skype you need a phone which is capable to generate alpha numeric characters, like the 3CXPhone.
It is also possible to make Skype calls by using 3CX MyPhone.

If I understand correctly, you are trying to send a call to a 3Cx extension, which is in turn forwarded to a Skype number? Is this correct? I assume that the Skype number is alphanumeric, is that where the problem is?

If so, then create a rule for the Skype number you wish for forward to. As an example, call it Bobs Skype contact. Digits 555, 3 digits long, remove 3, prepend with bobsskype (or whatever their Skype name is), send out on the Skype trunk. When you dial 555 the call will go to the Skype trunk as bobsskype. So will any call forwarded to that number.

You can use whatever digits, or range of digits you want to create "speed dials" to as many Skype names as you want. Just avoid any conflicts with existing numbers.
