connecting a Linksys SPA941 to 3CX

    Hi there.

    I have installed 3CX with a danish voip provider (Musimi.dk) and it works perfect.
    So far, i have 3 extensions at my local network, 1 hardware phone (Linksys SPA-941) and 2 3CX softphones installed.

    So today, I tryed to bring the Linksys phone to work, but it wont connect from an external IP address.

    Can anybody tell me why this isnt working?

    ** UPDATE **

    If I try to connect from the 3CX softphone from an external IP it writes "STUN server error"

    There is probably a firewall blocking your connection to the server or you haven't opened all necessary ports (UDP 5060 and 9000-9015 in the default config).

    Can you check if you meet one of these conditions? You should also try to run the Firewall Checker on 3CX and see if everything is OK.

    All ports (TCP/UCP) is forwarded to the computer.
    (1-65535)

    So i can't see what the problem is. :S

    Probably your work connection isn't allowing the outgoing connection from the phone / soft-phone to Stun / your server.

    Unless you run your work network, I assume all you've got at work is access to http / https (web).
