Constant nagging

    Hi,

    Thank you for the great phone system

    it's working well so far, except constant nagging

    10000 is my pstn GW SPA3102, i have three PSTN GWs and system nags me for all of them

    would appreciate some help

    Hi.

    Do you mean everything works well except for these messages in the server status log? Both inbound and outbound calls?

    Can you post what entries you have made for the VOIP Gateway line?

    yes inbound and outbound works well (SPA3102)

    as for the settings here you go

    3CX

    Line(s) Configuration

    External Number - my actual pstn number
    Internal Number 10000
    Outbound Caller ID - anything
    Allow outbound calls on this line - checked
    Answer incoming calls on this line
    Answer after - 0
    ID - same as internal number <this is important>
    Password - anything
    Route inbound calls in office hours - whatever

    VoIP Gateway Configuration
    Gateway Hostname or IP - can be IP or even FQDN
    Gateway Port - same as PSTN line port on SPA3102
    rest of the settings are default values

    SPA3102

    PSTN Line tab
    proxy - IP or FQDN
    register YES
    make call without reg - NO
    Ans Call Without Reg - NO
    user name - same as internal number
    password - whatever you assigned it
    Use Auth ID - NO

    Dial Plan
    Dial Plan 2: (S0:<internal line number>

    select Dial Plan 2: for pstn to voip

    p.s. Hold music is out of action as well, I'm using SPA941, SPA3102 and PAP2T plus there is a Digium board getting kicked around. Can there be a real job for it in the future?

    Please, open 'Advanced options' for your PSTN gateway and set following settings:

    Line-ID matching: Internal number
    Line-ID location in 'user' part of: 'From' field

    This should help.

    thank you for the reply

    changing those values sure stopped the nagging but also stopped the incoming

    The only way around is (uncheck use PSTN CID as VoIP CID), but then it stops forwarding CID

    LOG report : Can not find source by following specs: From: 'external number'; To: 'PSTN GW number'; Rline: 'PSTN GW number'; Contact: 'external number'

    I captured following packets

    3102 -> 3CX SIP Request: NOTIFY sip:3CX IP
    3CX - > 3102 SIP Status: 405 Method Not Allowed

    a bit not sure about the NOTIFY msg
