Creating a choice of caller ID for outbound calls

    Is there any way of allowing a user to have the choice of caller ID they show when making outbound calls to various numbers?

    There may have been, but I don't recall seeing an option added in V15 that would allow you to change outgoing caller ID based on either a dial code, or a specific number (range), in the outbound rules. Outbound caller ID has been set per extension.

    Have not tried this on V15 yet: in V14, we would leave the extension caller ID blank and then create multiple SIP providers each with a different default callerID / trunk #. We would then create rules for each that are triggered by preceding digits.
