Solved Custom Template - No provisioning link

    I have a V15SP5 (Windows) box where I'm trying to create and use a custom template.

    I can copy the base Yealink T4x template just fine, however, when I try to provision a phone with this template I see this message: Provisioning Link: Not available - Check provisioning guide for more info.

    What am I doing wrong or is this a bug?

    Please note that after you create a custom template and make changes to it you need to restart the management console service before you attempt to provision your phones with it. If you are still getting the error after that, it means that your template has something wrong in it.

    As we do not support custom templates you won't find documentation explaining this but a quick search of the forums will present plenty of results. Glad the issue is now resolved.
