Delay connecting remote audio on Skype calls

    We are using skype as a sip trunk (VOIP provider), and we are experiencing a long delay before hearing the far end, so we miss the greeting, "hello," etc. Is there a way to adjust "answer supervision," or is there another answer to this?

    Do you have any other VoIP trunks that this does or doesn't happen on? Any sort of "answer supervision" SIP message should be instant. What type of sets are you using? Some users have had delayed audio issues with some Yealink sets.

    Does the 3CX log (verbose) show any signs of a problem?
