Deploying 3CX on Azure

    Hi Everyone,

    We have deployed 3CX on Azure succesfully as a test.
    Last couple of months seems to be running fine - however we have now found that every now and again we get jitter for the call and it is almost impossible to hear the other person. Happens a couple of times a day.

    Not sure if Azure have changed something but was wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue or if someone has changed something to overcome this.

    Azure is not a supported platform with 3CX as you probably are aware, I do know of other re-sellers who are using 3CX on it so that is encouraging.

    The key question is what has changed over the last few months ? Have you added more IP endpoints or are more calls being utilized now from when the system first kicked off ?

    Please try and check the system when the issue occurs, things to look for are is the simultaneous call count being hit - is there a conference call(s) or something like that taking place ?

    Also how are you connecting your remote phones, STUN or via the 3CX SBC ?

    Jitter is normally a problem in slow-speed links or with congestion in the network.Unfortunately one of the downsides of using a platform provider is that you have no control over the PBX's local network as these sorts of issues can sometimes be solved with QoS (quality of the service) configured on the local network, or better bandwidth high-speed connections.

    It might also be worth checking your system platform resources as well and checking you are getting what you are expecting from Azure.
