Desk phones un-register if Android client connects

    We are running 3CX 15 pro, sp4. I've noticed if a user connects with an Android phone using the 3CX app the desk phone (Aastra 6735i) becomes unregistered after a few minutes. If the Android app is shutdown the user's desktop phone becomes registered again after 5 - 10 minutes.

    Hello @Vahur

    Are these local extensions? what firmware are you running and what template did you use to provision the phones?
    We have not come across this issue before and the client should run independent from the IP phone. Is the issue happening only with the client?
    What if you add another ip phone onto the same extension? does the issue happen then?

    What does the 3CX Activity log show when this event occurs? Are there any errors? Is there an apparent conflict (port?) between the two devices?

    Aastra is in local network, I have tested with all available firmware versions. Using 3CX from PC has no such kind of effect. From Aastra web interface I see error on System information - SIP Status - Contact Mismatch during No Service message on phone screen. On PBX side (192.168.2.115 - Aastra 6735i deskphone, 192.168.2.106 - Android with 3CX client, starting from activating 3CX on Android to No Service message on Aastra):

    At the moment problem was minimized with set Registration Failed Retry Timer to minimum, 30 sec. Default was 1200, so I get only a 30 sec blackout compared to 20 min. Another solutions seem to be use those phones with user who has no Android client.

    Not familiar with an "Inactive profile override"

    Is that an option assigned to that particular extension?

    I'm not sure, what it is, but it seems to do something with all extension. Example of another user, with Android and Windows clients:
