Dial by name feature intermittent

    Hello, I am using 3CX version 7.1.7139 and am having two issues with the dial by name feature:

    1. The feature works for all of my extensions except for one. I verified that the extension does have a self-identification message setup. There are no other last names that use the same "first three letters" numbers (in this case, 253). Are there any other requirements? Is it a timing issue? Tone issue?

    2. When I call into the digital receptionist, I press 1 for the dial by name service but it is so intermittent. Sometimes 3CX tries to transfer me to extension 111, other times it ignores the entry and repeats the digital receptionist recording. I'd say one out of ten attempts actually brings me into the dial by name service.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Please post logs in verbose mode for us to look at when this occurs...

    Also - is there any way you can upgrade to the newest release version?
