    hi

    i programmed a dial-now rule on my yealink t38 so the phone process the call automaticly on handsfree and i know i can change the Sip session timer but this only affect the off hook calls.

    is there a way to put this setting on the provisioning template?

    thanks

    You can - but you have to reference an xml config file - a bit like you do for the company phone-book load.

    If you look thru the provisioning template, you should find something that looks a bit like this;

    [ DialNow ]
    path = /tmp/dialnow.xml
    server_address =

    I created and put the reference file into the 3CX provisioning folder, so I could just reference it using code that you'll find elsewhere in the prov' template i.e.; http://%%pbx_ip%%:%%pbx_http_port%%/provisioning/dialnow.xml

    So - you then edit the Provisioning template entry to be like;

    [ DialNow ]
    path = /tmp/dialnow.xml
    server_address = http://%%pbx_ip%%:%%pbx_http_port%%/provisioning/dialnow.xml

    And you use an xml editor to create a bit of .xml code that looks like:

    '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>'
    '<DialNow>'
    '<Data DialNowRule="0xxxxxxxxxx" LineID="1"/>'
    '<Data DialNowRule="2xx" LineID="1"/>'
    '<Data DialNowRule="4xx" LineID="1"/>'
    '</DialNow>'

    Save that as a file (e.g. dialnow.xml) and put it in the provisioning folder on the 3CX.

    In the above example, the 0xxxxxxxxxx allows me to dial out straight after I dial a UK 11 digit phone number, the 2xx and 4xx allow me to dial immediately after inputting an extension number on my 3-digit dial plan. The line ID tells it to use the 1st account on the phone to dial ... You can put your own rules in for the DialNow sequence.

    best regards
