Hi. I guess wasnt very clear in my previous post. The phone rings and when you pick up you here 2 seconds of voice and then it drops the call. Ipcomms.net does not require authentication on there lines. I really dont know what is wrong. Please help.
    Thank you

i also use did from didx.org it is ok - the only issue i have with this is it abears as unregistered but it is full functional.

it try to register evey 10 min but no other trouble with this

CM113006] Registration of sip:442030263***@DIDX.net has failed; reason=Not found

what you can check is if you have suport reinvite enabled

Ok. Resolved the issue on the incoming calls. But now how can i separate the DID's goint to different extensions. They all ring at the same extension, even though they are told to ring otherwise. VOIP is frustrating.

Each DID can have its own line, that should solve the problem.

Than use Call grouping to determine what extensions you want to have it ring, or just bind it to one extension.

The number mask of the DID is used to determine the difference, starting from the back. (from memory I have to look that up actually).

So if my DID is 718-545-7895 i would have to put that in backwards?

No no, lets not go there :).

I am at a client site atm, but from memory it checks from right to left.

So 718-545-7895 you could split it up as
    7895 as did one
    5457895 as did two
    7185457895 as did three

Wasn't there something mentioned on the DID config screen about that?

    ===========edit===================

    Ok almost :).

    *7895 as did one
    *5457895 as did two
    7185457895 as did three

Are all seen as the same number.

you have to make sure you got the number in the "To" field so if you ISP provides you with 3 different DID numbers you have to make sure that the system looks into the TO field and route accordingly.

My guess is that your config looks at the wrong field to identify the line. (unless your ISP/VSP does not provide the line ID).
