DID visible for SIP client

    Probably a total n00b question, but nevertheless ...

    Is it possible to relay and display the DID which was called to the SIP client (soft or hard phone) so that the user will see this information when the phone rings and can (re-)act accordingly (i.e. answer with different scripts/pitches).

    Any insight is appreciated ...

    alpha tagging is what we call it here. Yes; i think it is. You would need to interogate the database - search these forums for postgre odbc etc etc and dig around like that. Do you have any programming experience?
