    Hello,

I have setup 3cx so far succesfully for testing. I have setup a digital receptionist and provided a recording using the audio format required. When I call the DR (IVR) ext 800 it rings for 1 second then cuts the call after 2 seconds and doesnt play the recording similarly if I dont provide an audio file it does the same thing? When I check the system extension status the IVR extension 800 turns Yellow only for 2 seconds then back to Green for idle

I have not setup our pstn gatway or anything like that I just want to test interanlly most of the functionality i.e the Digital receptionist for one.

Am i doing something wrong or do I need to do something else. Similarly the same behaviour occurs when I try to leave a Voice Mail for an extenion.

Please help everything else seems to be working well so far.

    Thanks

    Alex

Just to rule out the obvious stuff can you post a screen shot of your DR settings page?

Try loading another audio file and see what happens. It is possible that your current audio file is corrupted or incomplete.
If you used one of those free audio converter programs.

    I figured it out.

    In these steps:

    Reinstalled 3cx
    Updated all updates for 3cx
Installed all IIS 7 features using add role features in server 2008r2
IVR basic settings connect as "administrator" and our password to have access to the 3cx directory
Checked .vxml was available in MIME Types.

This link helped is suspecting somethings was wrong with IIS http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/troubleshooting-iis-ivr/

    All working spot on :)
