We are a small school and when the receptionist does not takes the call on time and goes to the IVR, the caller can dial an extension (enabled by default). This is causing problems because callers can interrupt classes.
Teachers could put the phones on DND but the main office won't be able to call in case is needed.
IS there a way to disable the "Allowing callers to dial a known extension" ??

Certainly would be a nice feature to say "Ext 44 only accepts calls from Ext 10,11,12" or someting like that as well.

Hi,

What you can try to do is this:
Set custom parameters IVRNOCHECKFORDN=1 and IVRDONOTCALL=Ext which may NOT be called. E.g. teachers phones.

I tried to set IVRDONOTCALL=Ext to an extension number by I am still able to call it from IVR.
Is there something else I have to set for this parameter to work? I tried restarting all services but still not working

Sorry, I can’t help you any further. Maybe 3CX Support can help?

Hello. There was a possibility to disable calls to known extensions through IVR (I'm using version 12)? Thanks in advance.
