Displaying Caller ID

    We have developed an application in which an inbound call is transferred to a specific number based on area code & prefix. The caller id on the receiving phone shows up as a port number. How can we get the actual phone number from where the call originated to show up as the caller id instead of showing this port number?

    Hi,

    This is a problem with the configuration of your Gateway / VoIP Provider. 3CX is mapping the wrong field to the caller ID. For sure when you get the call in any phone you see the same port number instead of the caller ID, right? In that case you need to adjust the configuration of your Gateway / VoIP Provider. Ask this question in the general 3CX forum.
