In our PBX, if a user's phone is unregistered, incoming calls for them are diverted to their mobiles -- good. However, this includes calls directed towards our general ring group (of which every user is a member), which is used to field calls when our operator doesn't answer the phone. Having ring group calls forwarded to a user's mobile isn't ideal, as they are often on-site and don't want to have to deal with any calls that aren't directly related to them. Is there any way to modify the ring group so that it ignores unregistered phones?

('User' isn't the right terminology, I know. I'm a software developer!)

Do you not mean to say "ring my mobile at the same time" option rather than forwarded (sorry...diverted)?

With a ring group call, because the call is not directed to one extension, and as such it doesn't "own" that call, forwarding should be ignored.
