Does 3CX have any Call Waiting features?

    Hi there,

    I would like to know if 3CX have any call waiting feature?
    or is this a feature related to phones?

    Assuming we have an ext "1001" already engaged in a call.....
    We have another caller that tries to call this ext "1001"........

    We would like the ext "1001" to receive some form of background notification like some tones.... just like wat we usually experience on our mobile phones...

    The ext "1001" is that given some options to either pick up the new call or ignore... it altogether...

    There is no call waiting feature as such, but if your phone can take multiple lines you can do the following.

    3CX Management console > Extension number > Forwarding rule > (at the bottom) "use Phone Status" .

    Your phone is now enabled to take multiple lines, at best if your user wishes, you can put the first call on hold quickly answer the second call ask them to wait and retrieve the first call, the second caller will hear music on hold.
