E-mail sender is set to "Use 3CX server connection settings" and 3CX server is set to use 3CX SMTP server. Emails from server work as usual, however if E-mail sender is encountered in call flow, it errors. Any suggestions?

    Hello @John Doheny,

Can you send us the error you see in the 3CXQueueManager.log file? That will give us a clue of what's going on...

    Kind regards.

    Hello @John Doheny,

I've been investigating the error you get, and it seems it is related to the email address you have entered. Are you using the characters <> by any chance? How are you specifying the email address? Also please check if the email address has some leading or trailing space, that might cause the issue as well.

    Kind regards.

Using email address contained in quotes using standard email format as shown in docs - no special characters and no leading/trailing spaces - [example] "name@emailaddress.com"

When you take the email configuration from 3CX, you also use the "from" email address specified there. Can you check in the 3CX Console > Settings > Parameters, what values you have for parameters "MLFROMADDR" and "MLSRVUSER"?

MLFROMADDR shows @office365.com however note that Email is set to use 3CX SMTP server
    MLSRVUSER is empty

Sorry, I misread that you're using the 3CX SMTP Server. In that case you don't configure anything and 3CX handles the SMTP details under the cover. However, in that case there are no 3CX parameters that show the information we need to use. That's why this is not working. The CFD should do the same than 3CX is doing, but unfortunately that case has not been considered. We will have to fix this. Meanwhile, the only option is that you manually specify your own server settings. You can use a Gmail account for example to send the emails...
