Entering extension to bypass Digital Receptionist not working

    The process by which a caller can enter an extension number to go directly to an extension is hit or miss. It works, most of the time, but on occasion (frequently) it takes 2-3 times for it to work. The first 2-3 times it will simply replay the greeting again.

    How to I correct this? Thanks in advance!

    It may be an issue with DTMF. Suggest you look into that.

    Thank you for the reply. In what manner would I look at it? At what level, the 3CX system, the gateway, or from the provider? I guess what you are saying, is that as a user enters the 3 digits, the tones are not getting picked up correctly, but where would I correct this?
