error-destination not found

    hi i have just installed 3cx voip phone,3cx voip phone system and 3cx gateway for skype, i live in france and have a phoneline supplied by my isp Neuf using adsl . i want to make calls using existing phone line, from my computer, i have installed all and configered all as per instructions ,so far i have got to ( phone online status is available) and (phone is now connected) but when i dial a local number i get the message( destination not found) also dial and ring tone appear to be english. software appears to be good if i can make it work, can anyone help ? thanks in advance

    Overall, it seems to be an issue of missing outbound rule prefix in front of desired destinations.

    14:21:17.531 [CM503001]: Call(11): Incoming call from Ext.100 to <sip:echo123@192.168.1.23:5060>
    This line tells that phone 100 is calling echo123 - this is wrong, it should call sip:PSTN_gateway_prefixecho123, where PSTN_gateway_prefix is the outbound rule you (should) set for the PSTN gateway corresponding to the Skype gateway's port.

    The same thing as above, missed outbound rule prefix in front of number. Plus important mention that, if you want to call a phone number using Skype, you SHOULD have credit and you SHOULD specify country code (00xx) in front of phone number, that means an overall format like <PSTN_gateway_prefix><country_code><phone_number>

    If you're new on 3CX Phone System, I recommend you to read, even briefly, about how to configure it, specially extensions and PSTN gateways.

    all at sea here have applied outbound rule with no success,best ive had is (number busy) which it isn't as i'm holding it in my hand. by the way ,lived in Pergamos near Larnaca for 4 years in the eighties great place

    Mike, I warned you, but you ignored :mrgreen: I said that, when you make a call to Skype, you have to dial <prefix><country_code><phone_number>. You have prefix here (9), phone number (0555852563) but no country code, 00xx. Where it is? :mrgreen: Skype require this, otherwise you cannot make call. Also, I repeat, don't forget, you need Skype credit to be allowed to make such phone calls, otherwise you will get "busy" again.

    P.S I didn't had too much time to know Cyprus yet, until now I like it, next holidays I will try to spend one week on Paphos or Pergamos 8)
