Does anyone else have customers asking for this? What the customer really wants is a way for the 3CX voicemail box to be synchronized with their Exchange email mailbox. For example, when the voicemail is deleted using the 3CX client it is deleted from the Exchange mailbox (and vice versa, when the voicemail is deleted from mailbox it is also deleted from 3CX). Also, when the email is read, the voicemail is marked as heard.

They are not using Exchange as the IVR server. They just would like email synchronization.

This is called email synchronization and is a common feature with other systems from Cisco, Mitel, NEC, etc.:
    • Enhanced Integration: Delivers new voice messages to your e-mail address and to your voice mailbox. If you delete a voice message from your e-mail client, the message is also deleted in your voice mailbox. When your system administrator sets up your account, you receive a Welcome e-mail message and error notification e-mail messages if an error occurs. This level does provide integration between your e-mail client and your voice mailbox.
