Is there any way to set a status or use restrictions to "allow" internal calls or certain CID's if in that status, or use Exceptions to always allow internal or certain CID? There is no options for "allow", just forwarding, end call etc.

Example, users currently use status DND to log out of queues and forward internal and external calls to voicemail. I'd like a status where they can auto log out of queues, forward external calls to vm, but allow internal calls or certain extensions/CID's through.

Sometimes a user needs to be somewhat unavailable for most calls, but not completely unreachable should management etc need to reach them.

If you forward external calls to ,,,say voicemail, then by default, you are "allowing" internal calls. That is the way it is seen, there really isn't a "white-list" as such. You could pass calls through a "dummy" extension that can be used to "weed out" calls based on caller ID then pass the desired caller onto the your extension. The forwarding rules are pretty flexible.

Thank you, that would make sense, but on the forwarding rules, you have to specify something for both internal and external calls in the settings. I don't see that you can forward just external calls to vm.

the fundamental idea is you are on DND or AWAY, therefore you are not there to take the call. And this is why we dont have the pass the call from some extensions on to the user. It is a request you can back in the ideas section.
