External Callers or internal callers do not hear ringing.

    Weird problem. If users dial an extension, no "ringing" sound is heard. If the call is not picked up then it will go to VMail. This happens to external callers as well if they are transferred. Any ideas?

    It sounds (no pun intended), as is a SIP 180 Ringing message is not being sent back to the originator. Did this issue just start? If so, were there changes made to any firmware, hardware, network?

    What type of set up are you using? Is the PBX on the local LAN? Remote sets? SBC?

    Newly installed system set to go live Wed. This was discovered during the testing phase with the client. PBX is on a local lan, no remote sets, no sbc. Around 40 handsets

    What sets are you using? make/model/firmware version Are they all the same? Have you tried using a 3CX phone device, at least for a test? What type of trunking are you using?

    Have you successfully run the 3CX Firewall test?
