External extension?

    In the manual there is there is the following about device configuration:

    Where can I set the extension to be external? The option isn't available.

    As you can see the help text in the screenshot also mentions this setting but is isn't there.

    it is an artefact - the switching for external and internal devices will be done by 3cx pbx on the fly - this gives you more liberty for take your phone with you if you travel from your office to your other offices or customers.

    Ok, in that case they should remove it from the help text and the manual. This is a little confusing..

    yes that applies to previous versions, no need in tha latest one
