I have created an extension with a voicemail for after hours calls. When a user selects this through the IVR it is supposed to transfer directly to the voicemail which emails the message to the person on call. There is no phone provisioned to this extension as it is used for voicemail only. Because there is no phone provisioned in the extensions page the status is in red. When I call the extension rather than being forwarded to the voicemail I'm returned with a "Forbidden" message on my phone and the call disconnects. How do I enable this extension without assigning a phone to it? Thanks.
