Fanvil Timeout Problem

    Argh! Since the last firmware update on Fanvil X3s and X4 and the use of the new templates, I have a very big problem. Almost daily some phones run in timeouts and display "SIP registration failed".
    I have to reboot them daily. I cannot see the reason.
    Can someone help? Any ideas?

    Fanvil X4 Firmware: 2.0.3.2992
    3CX 15.0.0 (most actual)

    Hello @narkumas

    Please note that currently there is an issue with Fanvil phones causing the behaviour you are experiencing. When the phones lose connection to the server for any reason then they do not re-register .
    We have reported this to fanvil and they have already fixed it. It will be available in a upcoming update.

    Hi,
    Is this a 3CX update or a firmware update we need to look out for? I have just installed 60+ Fanvil's onto one site and this is a major issue to us. On the 3CX Provisioning page for the Fanvil phones it still says
    Known Limitations
    • Currently no known limitations.
    Surely this needs to be updated to reflect this problem.

    Hi, I have the same problem TIME OUT than
    narkumas
    In my farm we have 40 fanvil X3s and X4 (Firmware 2.0.3.2992) and every day we have to reboot 10-15 telephones to return ON LINE

    when does 3CX intend to publish the new firmware to fix that major bug?

    I do not have a date for you as the firmware is still being tested by our R&D department.

    Is there a way to reach Fanvil support? Emails get rejected.

    I emailed them last week without issue, got a response within 24 hours. It was about an x6.

    I am also suffering this problem.
    Causing me huge headaches and making my brand new 3CX phone system look like a pile of crap.
    FIX ASAP.
